The Nature of Today's Energy 6/5/2014: Time to Adjust to the Change Again

How are you feeling about your goal? Is it starting to look like something you had not intended it to be?

Small in nature? Large and in charge? Is the goal becoming more of a monster than an opportunity?

It is time to re-evaluate where you are going. Ask your new spiritual companion for a little advise. Ask your spirit guide, "What the heck is happening?" 
They will surely answer you. 
I find it funny that a lot of our spirit guides have personalities. Some are dry and have a morbid humor. Others can be drill sergeants. They advise us to leap and sometimes tell us to jump. I like to talk to others about how their spirit guide interacts with them. My partner Brian has four spirit guides. Two who are always around him and the other two seem to come and go every so often. They have the same personalities that they had when they were living. He communicates with them during the day and he will ask them about what is happening and why it is happening. They answer the same way that my spirit guide answers me. Cryptic!
Oh Lord. It is almost as if they are wanting us to do the homework. What? homework?  
Yes we are constantly having to do homework. We may not be told that we have it but it is getting done. Everything we do in the day is a task that must be completed. Every person we come in contact with contains a lesson. When we have the answer in front of us, the spirits will supply us with a "Duh" answer. 

Yes the spirits will supply us with a hit on the head like the V8 commercial when we finally figure it out. 
How patient they are with our tender souls. As if we have not gone through this lesson before. Take a look at your goal once more. Last week we had to adjust to the change that was around us. It is time to do it again. Don't worry. It will all come together. Find the lesson in the change and you will surely save some major V8 hits to the head later on.

The Nature of Today's Energy 9.5.13: MoveTthrough This Season of Change

Thursday 9.5.13:

The card of the day is Destiny = The Wheel of Fortune. The hidden energy card is Judgement. The card sits in the position of Yellow = flexibility, adaptability, and personal power.

When the wheel changes from season to season, there is a brief pause in action, so that you can reflect on what has happened. 

How was your season of winter?

Mine was particularly cold. 

Sometimes we spin the wheel of fortune in hope that it will land on a season of summer. But what about the other three seasons?

Not only that. What about the other phases of the moon. 

You must move through the seasons with grace and ease. With every Summer there is a Winter and with every Spring there is a Fall. 

The wheel is slowing down. 

I think that the cards are speaking of the space that separates the seasons. 

We can tell it is fall by the leaves that change color. Spring brings sun and the melting of snow. Summer brings about heat. Winter brings rain and snow. 

You can get stuck between the changing of the seasons. 
When I was searching for Love, for that wonderful person to spend time with, I use to wish for it to take place. For a relationship to manifest into my existence. I would see others and only think of the "lack of". 

I felt like I was in the middle of change. 

In the middle. 

A Mystic must learn to live in the middle. Between light and dark. Between Earth and Spirit. 

There is hope. There is always hope. The wheel is constantly turning. Turning in a circular motion. Up and down. In and out. 

Energy you put out there will surely be returned. How are your thoughts today?
What are you focusing on?
The lack of or abundance of?

Judgement speaks to us about waking up. Lifting our spiritual self from the grave and moving forward. We scream with joy, for we are ready to be reborn. Like the Phoenix. 

You have to go through your process and journey of Death and transformation, in order to be transformed by the fire. 
The stages my feel like they are moving at a slow pace. 
No need to worry. If you stay focused then you will surely make it through the change. This is all part of your Destiny. It is all part of life. The movement from one stage to the next. The scenery is being re-arranged. You must change your clothes. Change your character. 

As I sit here and write, my niece is watching "The Little Mermaid". Ariel went through change. She gave up her life as a mermaid in order to go after what she loved. She gave up her voice. 
She finds it in the end. She gets it back. 

When she did not have a voice, she had to use all of her tools found within, to get the prince to recognize her. To fall in love. 

The wheel of fortune turned in her favor. She was persistent. She did not give up. Be like Ariel today. Move forward with great intent and know that you will get what is needed. Move through the season of change into the season of Abundance. 

Abundance of only good.

The card of the day is Ace of Swords. The hidden energy card is Judgement. The card sits in the position of Lucid Dreaming = awareness and opportunities. 

When you lose momentum and decide to take a quick break, the path can become clear. The opportunity that was hidden behind the curtain will reveal itself to you. 
You will find peace and joy. 

Sometimes you have to stop what you are doing and focus. Meditate. Breathe. 

Success is knocking at your door. 
Hello!
Answer the door. 

It is time to wake up from your nap. 
Do not rest for too long or you will surely miss out on something wonderful. Take a breather and get right back in the game. 

Even the strongest athlete has to rest for a moment. 
Your body will thank you. 
The vessel will be made whole again. The meter will be filled up. 

Can a car run on an empty tank?
Nope. 
Source is blinking the low gas light. Are you listening?
Are you going to try and make it to your destination on "E". 

It is time to fill up. Source is waiting to give you the energy to move forward. To bless you.

Success can be swift. It may even look painful because you will have to give up the old. 
I have learned that you must let go in order to receive. You can not hold on to things not needed and then expect to be able to grab the good in front of you. 

You will look like a stingy child. Wanting everything for them self. 
It is time to cut lose the chains that hold you to the ground. I saw Victory today. I realized it. I accepted it. I noticed that with or without it, I still existed. I was moving forward. I was living. 

It is time for you to live. Enjoy the rest of your day with the intent that all things are taken care of.

The card of the day is Third Eye Chakra. The hidden energy card is Judgement. The card sits in the position of Nettle = boundaries and caution. 

Such a wonderful day. 
Sometimes you have to really push forward with who you are and what you believe in. Sometimes you must step off the ledge and jump into opportunity. 

There are times when things just do not work out in your favor. Or do they?

Maybe you have not received exactly what you were expecting. Source has other plans. Did you know that if you were to walk around this wonderful world and state "There is always more than enough" when you saw the lack of an item. 

No pencils in sight?
There is always more than enough. 

No more fries?
There is always more than enough. 

Everything happens for a reason. The information is there. 
It may not feel right at that very moment but it is perfect. Did you know that?

To allow things to take place. To allow the very moment to unfold. 
What surprises you will find. 

The energy was about information of good things. A new way of thinking. 

I woke up this morning upset. Don't know why, I just did. 
I decided to search for information and answers. I received them. I asked and there was the information. Was I upset?
Nope. I new that as long as things were being taken care of then it would all work out in my favor. 
The person who helped me was awesome. 
I thought to myself "I should have done this a long time ago". 
I wanted to blame someone for my lack of self worth. 

I really had to let it go. 

I needed to take charge of my own self worth. 
I needed to set my boundaries. Advise those around me that "I can" and "I will". 
Sometimes we have to stick up for our self in a healthy way. 
In a loving way.

Tuesday 8.6.13:

The card of the day is The Ace of Coins. The hidden energy card is Judgement. The card sits in the position of Orange = creativity and change.

The creation of a new relationship can lead to the great and awesome essence of Source. This day contains that wonderful experience of good. Our greatness. Your goal is being manifested at this very moment and you are laying in the bright sunlight of good. 

The Ace of coins is about manifestation of that which is needed. It is being presented to us from Source. We are to recognize this good. 

I have to remind my self that the present from Source may not look like what I thought it would look like. It may not smell like sweet bread just taken out of the oven. It may not feel like silk. 
One thing is for sure. 
The item that is within the package will be of pure love. 

What if everything that was given to us was made of pure love. Even if it does not fit within our mode of fashion. 

It may not fit perfectly atop the cake we have baked. Heck, it may not even go with the theme of our kitchen. 

That weird red handled kettle may stick out within your dark green theme, in your kitchen, but it works. 
It boils water better than any kettle out there. It may have only cost you ten dollars but it surpasses a lot of the other high tech kettles out there. Do you think the kettle understands that it is simple? That it wallows in its own self pity because it does not look like the others?
Doubt it. 

The kettle only knows of one thing...to boil water. 
Do you know what we were born to do?
We were created for one thing...to be you. Simple you. Grand you. Awesome and wonderful you. 

The day brings about this thought. Today you are required to do one thing. You are required to shine. You are required to be your self. You are required to be that awesome, perfect, wonderful being of light. The good is already present. We simply have to recognize it.

The Nature of Today's Energy 7.25.13: The Sun Will Surely Shine Again

Thursday 7.25.13:

How wonderful it is to have so many opportunities within our life. To be able to choose. To have many options in front of you. How wonderful to see the Good within our life. 

The card of the day is Three of Swords. The hidden energy card is Judgement. The card sits in the position of Winter = reflection, transition, and release. 

When others are joking around and hit a sore spot, you tend to let your Ego take over, and your feelings can get hurt. 

I doubted every ounce of my decision, to move back to California, this morning. I doubted my self worth. 
Have you ever been in this position?

I wanted to cry. I wanted to give up. I started to worry. I became angry and wanted to yell at Source for leading me here. Back to a place where my Faith was being tested. How strong am I? What have I been doing this whole time? Where do I want to go?

I had to turn things around. I think the cards are literally talking about pain and sorrow that is associated with change and judgement, not from others, but from our own self. 
Our Wounded Child. The abandoned child that sits within us. 
We must get use to the fact that seasons change. A winter must be experienced in order to understand the wonderful joy of the Sun in Spring. We must learn to survive through the harsh cold of winter. We must learn to prepare for it. Summer moves into Fall. Winter moves into Spring. 

Should we just give up? Do we stop existing?
No! 
This is our confirmation that we are strong. That we can move forward. We must look at the good within the clouds. There is always a silver lining. The storm is short lived. Pain and Sorrow must be acknowledged and then advised to move forward. The energy must flow. I know what my self worth is. I know what my gifts are. I know that there is so much good here in California. Source would not have brought me here. Source would not have made it possible. I also was accepting of the fact that I could have stayed in Texas. I was open to both possibilities. I decided on the journey. I wanted to come home. I wanted to be wonderful and great here in California. I am worthy of this. 
I am worthy of a job that deals with Tarot and Spirituality. I am worthy of returning to school and learning. To achieve a goal that has been put on hold for the longest time. It is time for Aaron to advance. What is my next step?

You can put the energy out there and also affirm it, but if you have doubt or worry, then all of your hard work will be lost. 

Today we must move past the doubt and fear. It will all take place. Can you feel it? 
When you start to tear up for no reason today, please understand, that it is your spirit that is talking to you. Will you listen? 
Your spirit is advising you that something wonderful is going to take place. Something spectacular is happening behind the scenes. Can you feel the stage moving? Do you see the props being rearranged? The Sun will surely shine again. I can feel it. Can you?

The Nature of Today's Energy 7.16.13: Walking into the Dark Forest

Tuesday 7.16.13

The card of the day is the Solitude = The Hermit. The hidden energy card is Judgement. The card sits in the position of Obsidian = grounding, shielding, and void. 

It is time to settle in to my new surrounding. My new place of existence. I had to surround myself with great energy and positive thoughts in order to keep my Ego at bay. 

I am walking a new path. A path of information. 

It was a busy day. This entry will be short. 

There are times when you make a decision for the better. The Moon card has been speaking to me. No matter what path you choose, there will be obstacles set before you. 

You must choose the path that will benefit you the most. What lesson do you want to learn?
Sometimes the road less traveled will benefit you the most. You will receive confirmation of just how strong you are. You will know that the danger sign ahead is a blessing, for it will test your endurance. You will know victory. 

We all must walk down a path. We all must walk into the dark forest. The thing you must remember is that there is always a way out. There is always a light at the end. Do not let your Ego cause you to worry. Everything will work out in your favor. You just have to keep stating it until it becomes part of your existence.

The Nature of Today's Energy 7.11.13: Say Good-bye to Your Ego

Thursday 7.11.13:

As I get closer to the trip back home. You may find that my entries will be shorter. They may not contain much, but I would rather write something, then have no entry at all. 

I think that writing every day, even if it is in small amounts, puts my spirit at ease. 

There are times when my words want to be put down on paper...er....page. This is a page of some sort that will be remember in my book of life. 


The card of the day is Truth = Judgement. The hidden energy card is the Devil. The card sits in the position of Water = emotions, initiation, and rejuvenation. 

The last items of my life will be shipped back to California. Everything else is being given away to charity or to friends here in Austin. 

Source always provides. 

This is scary. I am scared. Another move. Another life. A new way of thought and process is recognized. My Ego is screaming at me, "Look! Look! Failure is at your door step! Watch out! There will be danger! You are not Worthy!"

Turn it around. The Ego knows that there is no turning back now. The last few moments of worry are coming to an end. I am moving forward with my life. 

I was out with a friend the other day and we were talking about my last job and the way things were played out. I decided to change my thought pattern. Why be upset. Why blame. I actually stated to my friend that I am thankful for the way things worked out. I am happy! I am ready for the great adventure ahead of me. I am returning home. 

I sometimes laugh at the detours and road blocks that have come up on my journey. They seem to lead me to the exact thing that is needed. I came to Austin, not for the advancement of my job, but to learn how to heal. To learn a new method of love and protection. I learned Reiki. Source brings me to new places to learn a spiritual truth. 

What an adventure. It is time to return to that which I know. 
To return to my life in California and aid others on their journey. 

To heal those who have lost touch with their own self worth. 
That is all a Mystic can do. Have others realize that they are connected to Source. They never really are cut off from the Universal Love. They simply pinch the chord a little when a decision, made out of "lack of", is created. 

It is time to wake up and say good bye to your Ego, for a bit, so that you can move forward with your dream. To achieve your goal. It is there. I can see it. Can you?

The Nature of Today's Energy 7.7.13: It is Time to Use Your New Found Skill

Sunday 7.7.13:

The card of the day is Eight of Coins. The hidden energy card is Judgement. The card sits in the position of Mugwort = Rite of passage.

This is the last day of class. I am sleeping like a baby at night. On Saturday, I did my first full hour healing session, set up space, and also worked with my healing guides. I feel empowered. I want to use Reiki all the time. I want to set up practice in Ventura. My next step is to get a massage table. Such small things. 

Today I am learning about crystals and a few crystal layouts to add one more tool to my bag of tricks. 

When we add a skill to our current state of existence, we understand that it can only benefit us. It will add so much more greatness to the person that we are. Are you ready to move forward?

Manuals, books, and rituals are very useful in learning a new skill. We require the template of magic, in order to understand the "why"of it all. Once the "why" is understood, the books and templates are no longer needed. We use our intuition. We begin to trust Source. We begin to explore the outer regions of our new found gift. 

I find my mind empty of all negative thoughts. Filled with only love but no way to express it. No thoughts of negativity are swimming around within my spirit.
I am love. 
I am joy. 

This class had to happen. I needed to advance. I may have to download more information later in the year, from Source, but I know that I will move forward with my ability. I will understand my technique. It may not look like other healer's techniques and hand movements, but it is enough. 

It is time to use my tools to produce a new spectacular prototype. It is time to create a new mold. 
To break the old one and create. 

I think of the tarot master. They are constantly reading, writing, and laying out cards. They are constantly learning about new symbols.
"Funny, I never noticed a castle in the background of the Ten of Swords." 

How wonderful to see that there is so much more within the cards. How wonderful that we are constantly evolving. 

I am awake. Now it is time to look through my old suitcase of stuff, that I carry, from one relationship to the other. 
That is it! 

We carry a backpack, trunk, or many suitcases from one relationship to the other. It is time to look through them. It is time to re-evaluate the items we have collected on our journey. What is no longer needed?

What experience must you examine, fill with love, and send off to Universe?

It will be taken care of. 
It is time to cut the chord. It is time to be healthy. To be whole. 

It is time to forgive. This is your right of passage. Are you ready for it?
It will not hurt. You will build a great work of art. 
The Eight of Coins card reminds me of a chef. 
The chef who works all his life to produce great food for a others.
Some will stay in their comfort zone and produce only what is needed to survive. Others will dream of great creations and only produce something new when it is needed. Then there is a Chef who dreams in the light of day. Who takes great items of yummy-ness and produces a spectacular dish! I think of Seth Nathan, a great and wonderful chef, who loves to cook and produce spectacular dishes. Believe me this chef really puts love into his food. I can taste it! I can feel it!

He is always thinking of new ways to make a dish even better. To make the person really enjoy what is being produced. To share his masterpiece with others. He does not hide it. He does not give it to only those who will surely give him positive feed back. He understands that the energy must flow from one person to the next. 
His gift is to make you feel at home. 

We must use our gift to do the same. To make those around us feel at home. To make them feel at ease. 
This must be our goal. To advance with our wonderful gifts and be the spectacular person we were born to be. This is the greatest gift you can give to someone. To be happy. To be love. To be worthy. 

The greatest skill you can add to your bag of tricks...is to exist.

The Nature of Today's Energy 6.26.13: A New Environment of Great Thought

Wednesday 6.26.13:

The card of the day is the Two of Swords. The hidden energy card is Judgement. The card sits in the position of Fairies = Environment, playtime, and enchantment. 

It feels weird to wake up and face the fact that I do not have to punch into a clock at 8 a.m. 

Now the choice to stay or to go, is on my mind. There are moments in life when you have to choose a different path. Two paths set before you. One is of dark and the other is of light. Both will lead you to your destination. The real question is "Which one will be going with the flow of energy and which one will move against it?"

When I decided to leave my current job in Austin, I started to walk home and felt...happy. 

I could feel the path become clear again. I could feel the pressure, to conform, leave my environment. I was free. The details will work out in my favor. The stress of what is to come, was not on my mind. I understood one Truth: If I believe everything will work out in my favor, then it surely will. 

There is no pain. There is no anger. I move forward and things are good. All is as it should be!

Maybe the choice to stay or go is not really a choice. Maybe it is not a question, as to which path will benefit me the most. 

Both paths will create happiness. One may look dark and scary, but so did the choice to leave California in the first place. The path will be made clear. The light will shine on everything and everyone. Even those who appear to hurt you. Even with the decisions that were made. Forgiveness starts within you. 

I forgive my self for trying to shut up my inner voice. I forgive myself for not listening. I forgive myself for stopping the flow of my existence. 

Even the Mystic can be blinded by the light of glimmering things. 

I think that we need a catalyst, so that we have to choose a certain path. We have to move forward and when we cling to things that have no meaning, we need someone to pry our hands from it. 

Be calm. Be love. Know that we must take a stand and create. Create power. Create change. 

When we get frustrated, it is our inner voice, advising us of our own spiritual strength. 

We can move mountains with such little Faith. 

Maybe we need a little bit of playtime, to create the inspiration and thought, that will lead us forward. A new environment. A moment to just forget about the problems that are present in our life. No matter what, things will work out, and all things will be made whole. Sickness and discomfort are simply the warning signs that something is not right. 

Sure, I am scared of what the dark path may contain, but I do know that I am protected. I will surely be guided past the pit falls and booby traps, set on my path by my Ego. 

Laugh at your Ego. 
State to it the very Truth, that we are deserving!
Deserving of great things. Deserving of everything working out in our favor. 

I want to post this before the decision is made on my right, as a gay man, to marry the person that I love. 

A new thought will come into action and I predict that the decision will be made in the favor of gay rights. A right to marry and be happy. A time of enjoyment. A time of great hope. 

Even if they decide to state we are not worthy of marriage, things will turn over in our favor, for the people are coming together to state "Enough is enough". 

Eventually life will move on and with every great moment of progress, people will move on to a new project, a different change. 

We progress forward. We move with great intent. I think that the government will know when they have to conform to the movement of the Universe.

The Nature of Today's Energy 6.17.13: A Phoenix Victory

Monday 6.17.13:

The card of the day is the Six of Wands. The hidden energy card is Judgement. The position that the card sits in is Silver = Goddess and insight. 

We leave the harsh cold of winter behind us, moving from one state of existence to the next. Small battles take up our time and energy. When we enter into the great battle of who we really are, then we must pull from all our resources. We see the big picture and understand that some battles could have been avoided. Will we win this battle?

Will we be able to keep the enemy at bay?

The gate is locked but who are we trying to keep out?

Your enemy hides within the shadow of the sunset. The enemy is not outside your castle. The enemy is hidden within. 

By allowing death to take place, transformation can proceed with great movement. Death does  not mean that the vessel will be dissolved. Death can be spiritual. Your spirit may need to be put to rest, so that the fire of life, can burn through all the sludge, and the spirit can be reborn. We must look within for the answer. 

As I sit here and write this message, I am listening to Larisa Stow's song "Kalikayei". 

The Goddess Kali destroys that which is not needed in our life and pushes us to grow. She allows the obstacle to be eliminated, even if we think it is not an obstacle, and she propels us on our journey. Pushes us to the next stage. Some are willing to accept it and others refuse. 

The fire of spiritual enlightenment may burn with great pain but it is needed. We must let go of the past and move forward into the light. The light of a new day. 

Wake up sleepy heads...
It is time to shine. Time to show everyone your light. 

Time to expand your state of being. It is time to become that wonderful person that you were born to be. A being of love. A being of light.

The Nature of Today's Energy 6.8.13: The A-ha Moment

Saturday 6.8.13:

The card of the day is Authority or the Emperor. The hidden energy card is Judgement. The card sits in the position of Fire = information and inspiration. 

The phoenix rises. This is the statement, I think of, when I see the judgement card. Are you ready to be reborn? Are you ready to wake from the transformation of the the Death card? We sleep in the beginning and float around, looking for out next lesson. Looking for our next path. When we find it, the path is made clear and we begin our journey back to reality. Back to this plane of existence. The manifestation of that path is now set. The process begins to unfold. 

Look at it this way:

When we first wake from a deep sleep, everything is blurry, and your eyes do not want to open up. You walk around, half asleep, and bump into things. Your spirit knows that you must get up and move forward, but your body is always a few seconds behind. This is the Judgement card. You must take your new found path, tool, power, and apply it to what you are dealing with at this very moment. This is the A-ha moment. The stars have lined up and everything makes sense. Now what to do with the new found information? What to do with the new found you?

The answer has been given. Information is supplied from Source and we must learn to process it. We may wake up half asleep, but soon our eyes become enlightened. We look into the mirror, brush our spiritual teeth, and start the new day.

The Nature of Today's Energy 5.27.13: Celebration

Monday 5.27.13: 

The card of the day is Three of Cups. The hidden energy card is Judgement. 
I always put a phrase or word in the title of each entry, to give you a short version of the days energy. It is the key word that must be taken in and understood. 

Celebration of what?

Why, today is the celebration of who we are. What we have created. The boundary has been set. The line has been drawn. 
If you cross this line, then you shall surely see what happens. 
This is not a threat but a warning. Free choice is being given. No one is stating that yo have to cross the line. This is as far as you are able to travel at this very moment in time. 

Have you set your boundary?
Remember that, yesterday, I met my partner's parents. He set his boundary. He set his line. He stated that they must accept the person he has become....happy. 
They now understand that he is not within the shadows. He is content with his wonderful life. He states to me that he is happy because he has found the love of his life, but I think he is simply content that he has found someone who accepts him with flaws and all. 

I set my boundaries a long time ago. The line was drawn in the sand a few years back and now I advise people about it. They can choose to cross it and in turn they find out that I will not budge. This is my mountain of happiness. They can either be part of it or be pushed off the edge. And I have pushed a many people off my edge. They are choosing to fall. They are choosing to cause conflict, rather than enjoy. 

I do not intentionally push them off, stating, "You have crossed it, now I must push you off". 
It is the movement of energy. If you cause discord, then the energy must be moved along. I will not allow you to cause blockage in my life. I will not allow you stay stagnant. You must move along with me or be forced to move in another direction. Wouldn't life be grand if everything just flowed? Allowed the flow of energy to take place in their life. 

Be careful though. Take caution. Understand that everything is not a fight. You must stand up for your right, but learn to process the energy, before moving it along. Learn to let go of that which does not serve you. 
Help it to meet the great Divine. Aid it on it's way.

It is time to wake up into a new state of existence. A new thought. A new way of living within the love that you deserve. You do know that you deserve love. That you deserve joy. Sometimes we have to take a step in the opposite direction, in order to process, and move, the energy that is stagnant within our life. Within our Chakras. Along our path of enjoyment.

The Nature of Today's Energy 5.18.13: Disruption

Saturday 5.18.13:

The card of the day is Disruption = The Tower. The hidden energy card is Judgement. 

The phrase "the calm after the storm" comes to mind when I see these two cards in a reading. There was a storm a brewing yesterday, within my soul. The vessel was about to go into shut down mode, due to too much energy. 

Today is a brand new day. 

There are moments in my life, when a person will approach me and start to talk about how bad the day is. How awful the moment is. Their perception can lead them down a street of negativity. I simply smile and advise them "it will surely work out in your favor". They look at me with silence. No response. 

Do you think they are trying to figure out how to turn that positive statement into a negative one? 

Are they surprised that I did not agree with them?

I have always wondered what goes through the mind of a person who hears a positive statement. Just the other day, I was talking to a co-worker about dieting. Did you know I am a self proclaimed expert on gaining and losing weight? 

She would always state to me about how she ate too much, or gave in to her sweet tooth, and devoured every cookie in the cupboard. My response was always positive. I would advise her that it happens, and that she has to keep on moving. Weight is something that we must first accept. Our own state of existence and the ability to want to change. After many morning talks about the daily eating of yesterday, she one day advised me that I was always so positive about losing weight. She appreciated the fact that someone was advising her that it was okay to fall off the wagon for a moment, and that she was able to return to her healthy way of eating and move forward. 

That made me smile. 

Even though I was feeling blue, that little sentence of appreciation brought joy to my heart. 

The cards speak of peace and change of thought. The awake feeling that we get when everything just makes sense. When the heavens come together in union, to create that perfect moment. This perfect moment. 

When a person first learns to Hoop. You can do it on one side with ease and grace. One way of movement. But a true Dance Hoop person must learn to hoop in the other direction. They call this the second currant. Believe me it is not easy, but when you learn to hoop in both directions, it opens up even more things that you can do. Hoop Dance! I enjoy it. There is also a move you have to do, that is called a Break, and it stops the hoop from moving left, to turn it to the right. I know, it sounds confusing, but bear with me. I swear it will relate to the Tower card. 

When you first start to learn the break, it is not elegant, and it looks like you are making a mistake. With time you learn to make the break (disruption) look elegant with a little sparkle of hands and body motion. The Tower card is about destruction and the trick is to make it look easy, by making it look elegant. 

This method can be related to Pee-Wee Herman's Big Adventure, in the scene where he is riding his bike and hits a curb. He flips over and falls and when he gets back up, there is a group of kids watching him. He looks at them and states, "I meant to do that". This is how we should handle disruption. After it has ended, and people have noticed it, we should look at them and state, "I meant to do that". 

Disruption is simply the absence of Truth. We become confused because we are not recognizing the solution in front of us. 

It is time to wake up. Time to get out of bed and start your day. Time to take your first step into the light. Time to turn towards the Sun, and like the turtle, bask in the sunlight. Raise your face to the sky and soak in the joy of life.

The Nature of Today's Energy 5.17.2013: Truth

Friday 5.17.13: 

Truth creeps in. We wait for it to take place, when all hope is lost. What happens when Truth is at your doorstep?

What happens when it is hidden? Hidden beneath the rest of the world and all of its lies?

Truth is a change in thought. A change in a different direction. 

What happens when a Mystic is tired of the crap? When he is the only one shaking his fist at the wrong, that is seen, within their reality? 

I think this is Bullshit!

A Mystic can only take so much crap and turn it into something beneficial. Crappy Fertilizer. Yes, I know, it helps everything grow. Helps everything bloom. Well, you can certainly use to much. Then what? Your seed becomes smothered. 

There are questions that swim around, throughout my day, and they require me to really take a look at everything that is going on. Why try? Why check in? No one else is checking in around me. No one else is wanting to see the huge hail storm that is headed our way. Kinda feeling like Noah here. Building a damn Arc, everyone laughing at the project, and in turn the rain starts to drop.

Did Noah have a smile on his face when that first rain drop was felt? I doubt it. I think he had a heart full of compassion, for those that were going to surely be transformed. 

The card of the day is Judgement or Truth. The hidden energy card is The Sun. 

The Truth shall set you free, is what I think of with these two cards. 
Happiness transpires from the release of lies. Today's entry is going to be very short. This Mystic is feeling the sludge build up, and frankly, my defense mode is to become like the beginning stage of the Hermit, and retreat into silence.

The Nature of Today's Energy 5.9.13: Restriction

Thursday 5.9.13

The card of the day is Eight of Swords. The hidden energy card is Judgement.

Restriction is a spectacular art. We do it to our self everyday and at times, become perfect examples of non-movement. We state, "my hands are tied. I can not do it"

At that point in time we fail to see the truth. We fail to be the best that we can be. 

There are times when we require a trumpet to blow and state "wake up!"

We require the crashing sound of glass from the other room, to know that something is wrong. 

To know that we need to put our attention on something else. 

Maybe we require a distraction so that our sense of hearing can focus on the way out. The Eight of Swords, usually shows a woman bound and blind folded in a field of swords. There is an opening and she is in the path that will take her to a clearing of good, but she can not see it or feel it. 

There are times when I want to go further than what the card is stating. Today is such a day...

In my mind, I can hear a person calling out to her, with instructions, on where to step. Do you think that person is stating "you will be okay"?

Do you think they are giving her precise directions?

Do you think that the person is Source? 

Maybe the person is your inner voice. Maybe the person is your best friend. Oh, how I miss my best friend Shaun. He is great at giving directions.

I miss my support group being five minutes away. I miss my family being two minutes away. I miss the familiar sound of the ocean or the way a breeze felt on a warm day in California. Spiritually, this Mystic, feels alone on this path. Sure, I have my great and wonderful partner with me. I have met great new friends and experienced new places, but I miss my home. I miss the fact that "bugs in the house" meant an ant or a spider, not the crazy roach. I miss the weather and how it would make up its mind in the early morning, not half way through the day and then decide to change again an hour later. 

Maybe this is my sound of "shattering glass". Maybe I am waking up from my state of sleep, with the sound of a trumpet, and here is the reality that Source wishes me to apply my new tools to?

In the end the restriction is only temporary. This is no different than any other obstacle. I know that my inner voice is calling out precise instructions to me. I know that I will come out of the field of swords with not a scratch on me. 

The real lesson that one must learn, is that with every obstacle we face in life, Source is calling out to us with perfect instruction. It is our decision that will either make the journey easy or difficult. Just because you can not see nor feel what is in front of you, then you also doubt what is being spoken to you. The greatest gift we can give our self, is the gift of Faith in the unknown. Source requires us to listen. Listen for the answer that is being presented. Sometimes we have to have our hands tied and eyes blind folded, in order to stop our momentum of movement. In order to be able to listen to the answer, or signs of danger, before us. In order for us to recognize the great love and light that is being given to us, by Source.

The Nature of Today's Energy 4.19.13: The Idealist

Friday 4.19.13:

The Queen of Swords sits in the position of Lizard/Dreams/Strength/Weakness. 
The hidden energy card is Judgement. 

I turn to my spirit guide for answers.

Me: Is this a person in my life?
Spirit Guide: No
Me: Is this an energy that will be around me?
SG: No
Me: Is this an energy that I must take on?
SG: Yes. You must live it. 

When I speak to my spirit guide, there will either be a novel of information, or she will give me one word answers. How do I interpret the one word answer? 
I simply understand that my Spirit Guide is giving me a definite answer and that to question it will only cause me to form doubt within the process of love and life. 

I am to move through out my day and create that which is good. Good beyond belief. To move forward with everything that my heart is set on. Write...
She advised me to write what is within my heart, not within my mind. To create that which is good. To create that which is mine. I long for the past to reach the present. For that which has been, to follow suite and find my home once more. To regroup. To live within the moment of what is taking place at this time. 
To write. 

To feel pain of that which has passed. We all go through it. We all find peace in the moment that love presents itself to us. We think this is it. I surely can die and I will be happy. What happens when the moment is over. We wish for more. More of the same feeling within that experience. 

To write. 

She advises me to be inspired by what she is stating to me. It is not about the card, but it is about tapping into the energy that is around me. To write about what is happening at this very moment. 

If you seek Truth, then be truth. Be like the Queen of Swords. Speak your mind. You must accept what will come from that Truth. Are you ready to accept the Truth of the situation? Even if it means that you are wrong?
That I am wrong?

She leaves me with one last thought, one last statement. 
"If you wish to change that which is around you, you must start with your thoughts". 

So many have spoken this truth in the past. 

I do want to warn you about the shadow side of the Queen of Swords. You may want to contain the power that she has, of clarity and truth, but you must pay attention to that power. Are you using it to hurt or heal? Are you really seeking the Truth or stating your opinion? 
You must be open to everything that is around you and accept that which is being presented. The moment you do this, the truth will present itself. The struggle will be no more. The tools you contain in your hand, whether it be paint, clay, Tarot Cards, Crystals, and such, will make sense and you will be inspired to create. To create that beautiful masterpiece called "You", called "Me".

The Nature of Today's Energy 1/15/12

  Judgement.
A new lesson to be applied to the cards that will follow. Judgement is about a new beginning. Waking up from the sleep you have been under. This card is about the Sunrise. That sunrise you have been waiting for. The lesson here is trying to adapt to the way you see the world. Apply the new way of thought to your old way of living. Your new way of thought can be applied to your past and to your future. You walk with your goal in sight and now you understand that it is not about reaching your goal. It is about the adventure and possibilities that happen every day. It is about the miracle of forgiveness, faith, hope, love, and joy. It is about the journey. It is about the shedding of one skin and that first step you take into the light.

The Nature of Today's Energy 5/16/11

  Judgement. I relate this card to the Phoenix. We are reborn through fire. We rebuild. The Lesson this card talks about is waking up from the sleep we have been under. We return refreshed and renewed. We return wiser than before. We simply return. We wake up from a time of rest and sleep. We wake up to find that chaos is part of our lives. We wake up to see the world has changed and we are the constant. Understand today that through every experience there is a positive lesson we learn. We move forward with knowledge. This card has always been my favorite, because it talks about the end result of transformation...of change. I always see it as a positive sign that we contain faith and understand it.
