The Nature of Today's Energy 6/8/2014: A Fresh Start

Silly little heart. A fresh start. A new week is upon us. What does Source have in store for us?

It will be great. It will be wonderful.
The start of something new. A new week. 
The energy of today is about play time. A journey. The ability to stand your ground and say "Yes" or "No". 

The journey will be long and filled with many pot holes. There will always be a couple of flat tires. An oil change. A tune up. The road will be filled with detours and U-turns. What I want you to take with you into the new week, is that with every step that is taken, brings in a new way of thinking. That way of thinking should be in a positive nature. I have not decided if I am going to write an entry for the entire week or daily. I am going on vacation on Thursday. I may not have time to write something on those days. We shall see. What will take place is that Source will allow me to get the information that is being received to the people that need it. 

The week ahead will fill our days with a little bit of worry. A little bit of doubt. Small conflicts within our mind. Know that you will move past this. The cards are saying so. A great time of healing is taking place. It seems that every year contains the process of healing. The sins of the past are cast away and everything is made anew.

The Nature of Today's Energy 6/7/2014: It is All About Perception

All of this information that is presented to me by Source. Cards, incense, words, thought, color, number, and spirit. 
Sometimes we fall asleep at the wheel. Who is driving?

Sometimes we give up. 
The road can seem dark and gloomy. The road can look bright. It is all about perception. 
What are you looking at?
Sunrise or Sunset?

I remember my first entries in this blog page. I would talk about "my sunrise". 
I would ask Source everyday for my sunrise. Surely, if I was hopeful, then love would enter into my life. 

I was looking at it all wrong. 

The cards are talking about your self worth. With every worry or fear, that breeds a thought of negative nature, we place a marker on the chart of life. It states "I lack". What are you lacking? Well, in my eyes you have everything you need. 
Sometimes one has to jump into their darkest hour. Sometimes one has to sleep in order to be woken up. To wake up with a new thought. A new idea. A new path.

The Nature of Today's Energy 6/6/2014: Answers Will Be Given

This is going to be short. Why? Because the spirits are advising me that it needs to be. 
Today brings in answers. You will receive an abundance of information. An abundance of love. An abundance of wealth. People will be nice to you today. You will be given hope. 
Hold onto it for a brief second and then pass it on. Hope can not just sit there. It must be shared. The information you will receive from your angels/spirit guide/loved ones will be vital to you in moving forward. So, open your eyes. Open your heart. Open your hands. The information is there. The love is there. The hope is there.

The Nature of Today's Energy 6/5/2014: Time to Adjust to the Change Again

How are you feeling about your goal? Is it starting to look like something you had not intended it to be?

Small in nature? Large and in charge? Is the goal becoming more of a monster than an opportunity?

It is time to re-evaluate where you are going. Ask your new spiritual companion for a little advise. Ask your spirit guide, "What the heck is happening?" 
They will surely answer you. 
I find it funny that a lot of our spirit guides have personalities. Some are dry and have a morbid humor. Others can be drill sergeants. They advise us to leap and sometimes tell us to jump. I like to talk to others about how their spirit guide interacts with them. My partner Brian has four spirit guides. Two who are always around him and the other two seem to come and go every so often. They have the same personalities that they had when they were living. He communicates with them during the day and he will ask them about what is happening and why it is happening. They answer the same way that my spirit guide answers me. Cryptic!
Oh Lord. It is almost as if they are wanting us to do the homework. What? homework?  
Yes we are constantly having to do homework. We may not be told that we have it but it is getting done. Everything we do in the day is a task that must be completed. Every person we come in contact with contains a lesson. When we have the answer in front of us, the spirits will supply us with a "Duh" answer. 

Yes the spirits will supply us with a hit on the head like the V8 commercial when we finally figure it out. 
How patient they are with our tender souls. As if we have not gone through this lesson before. Take a look at your goal once more. Last week we had to adjust to the change that was around us. It is time to do it again. Don't worry. It will all come together. Find the lesson in the change and you will surely save some major V8 hits to the head later on.

The Nature of Today's Energy 6/4/2014: Take The Good in Your Life by the Horns and Run

We all require some sort of companion to aid us on our spiritual journey. A cat, a dog, a hamster, a bird. They all reveal some sort of secret to us. I picked the Animal card from one of my oracle decks. I really do not like this card. When it comes up in a reading I always want to look away from it and, as my client is not looking, slip it off the table. I use to cringe at the sight of it. Animals?! What do you mean? Do they like animals? Everyone likes animals. 

It is associated with St. Francis of Assisi. I had to look deeper. 

I want to tell you that as you dive deeper into the ocean of life, signs and symbols seem to take on a new meaning. They become more than just a word. 

We have started our new goal and took on a new task. Now ask, "Who will come along?"

I have been seeing a lot of Butterflies around me. I know that this is a sign from Source that something spectacular is going to happen. That breakthrough is going to take place and it will be a drastic change. It always is. So why is it always a sudden surprise to us when it happens? 

What?! Spirit is requiring me to change again?!

Yup. It never ends. Even after death we are required to evolve and change. Spirit does not just sit there like a pile of goo. It is always moving from one side of the Universe to the next. It is boundless. 

Today is the day of Authority and transformation. You have spoken up and stated that you are worthy of the good in your life. Now it is time to take it by the horns and run.

The Nature of Today's Energy 6/2/2014: Creating a good habit

Today is a great day to start a spiritual diet. You know. The kind of diet where you cultivate only thoughts of good rather than thoughts of a negative nature. You will find great results and with every task you start, you may just find, that it is completed at the perfect time. Also this is a great time to start a new diet. Actually it is a great time to start a new way of eating. Change something small every day with your eating habits. Have you ever thought about what a habit is? It is simply a small ritual that you have created in order to get a result. A habit is not always bad. It can be good as well. The choice is yours.


This may be short and small in nature but not every entry has to be a book. I am going through change again and this also will have an effect on my entries. I am trying to find my groove. In the end, the message will be received and I will do my best to write it down. 

The Nature of Today's Energy 6/1/2014: Returning To The Beginning

The position the cards sit in is known as "Bee". It is about forgiveness. Sunday brings about a time of reflection. What has happened during the week? 

The goal has been set and also we have received information form our spirit guides. How are you using it? 

The goal is reaching a state of completion. 

The cards are talking about the end of one cycle and the beginning of another. 

We begin a new week and the stage is changing. 

Every week the stage changes. We move from one set to another. Why am I telling you this? 

I am stating this because you should leave the past in the past. Say good bye to one moment of your life and say hello to the next. The new week brings in a time of prosperity. The goal is manifesting. Your new goal, that has changed and transformed, is now showing signs of creation. 

It is time to make amends to those who you have crossed during the week. It is time to start fresh. 

It is time to forgive. 

I have started to sleep with a sphere of yellow calcite and also pick a card from Doreen Virtue's Oracle deck called "Saints & Angels". The card I picked was Forgiveness. 

Today's card position is about forgiveness. 

The spirits are advising us to let go of our expectations about our goal. Remember it transforms and changes as we transform and change. 

Maybe I will transform and change the way I write. Maybe it is time to evolve. 

It is time to remember who we are. Who I am. 

We are spirit. We are love. We are peace. We are part of Source. 

One must remember this during the wonderful delights of next week and the sour mishaps.

The Nature of Today's Energy 5/31/2014: Everything Will Work Out In Your Favor

There are moments in your life where you have to listen to what the Spirits are saying. 

Listen to the advise they give you. Sometimes it may not agree with your Ego. It may go against everything you believe in. 

Our spirit guides are there to push us past the crap of everyday life. 

The cards speak of Faith. They talk about the choices we have to make and how sometimes we have to use our intuition to come to an answer. 

Your Ego will try to confuse you. It will state the opposite of what your spirit is telling you. You will feel a struggle. 

When you come to an answer you must stay positive and stick with it. You have to know that everything will work out in your favor. It will work out for the greater good. Everyone will benefit from your choice, not just you. 

I still struggle with writing my entries. I may change it. I may simply write two sentences. The big lesson I must learn here, is that, I am making progress as long as I write something everyday. 

Do not worry about what others think or what they may say. As long as you make a decision and choice based off of truth and clarity, rather than fear and doubt, then you are being truthful with yourself. 

Sometimes you have to look at the simple things in life. What if shit just didn't work out the way you thought it would? What if you just did not get what you want?

What happens?

Nothing. You keep on moving. You keep on living. You keep on breathing. 

I find myself still stressing over small matters. Do you have this issue?

I think it is time to lift up your arms and say, "Source! I am letting you take care of it."

Surrender. Give in to the movement of the energy around you. When you stress and worry, you go against the natural flow of energy. You are trying to push against the good that is manifesting. Allow it to rush over you. Move with it. Go with the flow.

That does not mean that you are to sit there and not make choices. A choice is your participation in creating good within your life.

It is time to have Faith. Know that it will all work out okay. You are okay. It is a lovely day.

The Nature of Today's Energy 5/28/2014: It May Not Be What You Want, But It is What You Need.

Today brings an agreement of some sort. The agreement may not be exactly what you want, but it will be what you need. 

The truth can present itself to us in an unusual shape and form. It may look dingy and dirty, raw and unfinished, or sad and broken. 
The truth can be dark in nature. It may cause destruction. 

The cards are stating that today will contain the truth but it may not be what you expected it to be. 

What do you have your hopes set on? What is your goal? 
Sometimes the goal can blind us. The end result can be misleading. You have your mind set on a particular item. You reach out into the Universe and state "Make it so!"
You create that which you desire within your spirit and wait for it to be manifested into reality. Do not obsess over it too much. You will surely over water the small seed that you have planted. Do not forget about it as well, for you do not want it to be sitting on the shelf, of your root cellar, collecting dust. 

Sometimes your goal changes. Sometimes it is manifested in an undesirable way. It comes to you half broken and unstable. Do not worry. Maybe you are only looking to use the simple spring within the broken item, so that you can complete your masterpiece. 

Your life is your masterpiece. It is never finished. It is constantly being worked on. Painted with different colors and brushes. Your goal is part of the picture. What have you been working on? 
Be open to what is being presented to you. It may look small and meek but it packs a powerful punch. Your spirit will recognize it. It will glimmer like a ruby in the sunlight.

The Nature of Today's Energy 5/28/2014: Support Towards Being Okay

Music inspires me to write. I think it will aid me in finishing up this weeks entries. 

Christopher Hayes posted a statement on Facebook last week which said,

"If my life was made into a country song I'd ask Reba McEntire to sing it."

This has been stuck in my mind for a while. I have been thinking about the soundtrack of our life. What if we could pick a person or group to sing our song? Who would you pick? Who would it be? What genre of music would the song be labeled under?

Music and lyrics are there to soothe our aching heart. They supply us with support. They can lift us up or bring us down. You relate the song to the situation that has been happening in your life. 

The cards speak of support. They speak of generosity and prosperity. The detour has led us to a new destination. That destination turned into our place of prosperity. What song will you be singing? 

What is playing on your spiritual radio? My song is half bitter sweet and carefree. A crooked smile. It provides me with a little bit of wisdom and disaster. It brings me to a state of "Okay". 

I use to advise those around me to think of a state of perfection. To state that everything is perfect. There were those that stated to me that it was hard. It was hard to see things as perfect when everything was crumbling to the ground. They use to ask how to see the good within the bad. Here is my reply. 

It is not about getting to a state of perfection without going through the grief. R.E.M. states it best when the lead singer states, "Everybody hurts". 

The change is only painful because we are wishing to stay the same. I agree that it can be difficult to change your train of thought from always seeing the worst to only seeing perfection. How about this?

Perfection is the acceptance of the current situation as only good. You are accepting the circumstance of your choice. 

I always tell my students during an important spiritual lesson that they have homework for life. It can be done now or later but it is always going to be part of their journey. It is part of the process and they will always be working on it. 

Your homework for life is to simply get to a state of "Being Okay". If you can achieve this then you will be able to accept the circumstance that has been created. Then you will be able to see the perfection that is presented. 

What does music have to do with this?

Music brings us to a moment of clarity. We associate our experience with another person. When I am mad I play this song or when I am sad I play that song. It helps me think. It brings me back to the start. 

Maybe you need to hear that song today to get you back to a state of "Being Okay". 

Perfection is already there, we simply have to recognize it.

The Nature of Today's Energy 5/26/2014: Change in Direction

The spirits are telling me to write. So here I am looking at the blank page. They asked me to write back in March but after that one day I decided to stop. I think I needed a little bit more time of meditation and also review of my life. 
Where am I going?
What am I going to to do?
What do I write about?

I ask my spirit guide these questions all the time. The answer is always the same, "Write". 

In my opinion the spirit world can sometimes be very cryptic. It is kind of like the symbols that we see on the Freeway of our spiritual journey. The sign may simply have a turtle on it. What does it mean? Are the spirits advising me to slow down? Are the spirits telling me to hide?
Oh crap! Am I to seek out a turtle shell? You fly by the sign and wonder what will happen next. 
I wonder what will happen next?

I return to this blank screen and start to write my thoughts on the page. I have pulled some cards for the week, as usual, and there is information there. I find myself struggling with the signs that the cards hold. 

Let me start at the beginning. 

The cards speak of a change in direction. 
A change in plans. 
Today will bring a different off ramp. A different set of directions. 
In this day and age we have Google map on our phone or some sort of navigation application. It provides us with directions to our next destination. While you are moving forward it adjusts and recalculates the distance and duration of your travels. 
The cards are advising me that today will bring a recalculation of your spiritual travels. The directions are going to change. Source may lead you down a different avenue.
Do not worry. 
Do not be afraid. 

Sometimes we need a little bit of detour in our life. Sometimes we require a little bit of change. 
The message that the spirits are giving you today is to embrace that change. 
Embrace the detour. 
You never know what can take place. You may find that the detour will lead you to a place of prosperity. You have everything you need. It is contained within your very existence. It sits within your spirit. The sign will eventually make sense. It usually all comes together at the very end. 
Wait! 
It always comes together at the very end.

The Nature of Today's Energy 9.7.13: Finding Balance

Saturday 9.7.13:

The card of the day is the Two of Coins. The hidden energy card is the Fool. The card sits in the position of Amethyst = psychic abilities and behavior patterns.

Balance is part of life. Everything has a counterpart.
You also have another side to your soul. The shadow side.

I feel like the cards are speaking of the two halves. Dark and Light.
The happy side and unhappy side of your wonderful self.

Sometimes one is above the other. One is out running the other. When the race is over, though, you will find that they both arrive at the same time. No winner. No loser.

Keep balance in your life. Try not to let your shadow self steal the show. Allow your spirit to shine but do not think that you are better than the person sitting next to you.

The person juggling the two coins on the card is not only balancing the materialistic things in their life, but they are also trying to balance the spiritual side. One coin is of love and the other is of doubt. The two coins use to be part of one. The Ace of Coins. I feel as if the the cards are trying to speak of balance. Balance of what is wanted and what is desired.

The Nature of Today's Energy 9.6.13: The Empress Card Must Be Turned Right Side Up.

Friday 9.6.13:

The card of the day is Fertility = The Empress. The hidden energy card is The World. The card sits in the position of Green = compassion, love, and cultivation. 

The energy of the day is about receiving what you need at the right time. What if you were shown what the true possibilities will be, when you are faced with a certain choice? 
Would you still walk the path you were given?

Sometimes you are given the answer. The true nature of what can happen. You are shown what the outcome can be. 

We still decide to walk down the path of negative destruction. 

The cards are talking about abundance and being in the right place at the right time. You are walking on the right path. 

I have to be honest. Today brought about a lot of things. The abundance of what?

Every card contains a light and shadow side to it. 
The Empress does mean abundance but I also view the shadow side as excessive. Too much of something. It is not always a great idea to take on more than you can handle. 

You become full. Full of crap. Full of junk. 

One wants to be empty. Ready to be filled with good. 
The Empress brings us only good. The shadow side of the card is brought about because one wishes to separate from the Truth. 

What are you seeing an abundance of? Is it of good?

Maybe it is time to empty your spiritual self. Just release the ties and binds that you have placed on your spirit. 

As I write this the song "Weightless", by Natasha Bedingfield, comes to mind. 
She talks about cutting the strings and floating on a journey of hope. 
Maybe the Empress card is here to remind you that it is time to cut the strings that bind you down and float on a wonderful journey of hope. Your hope. 

It is time to take care of you. Take care of your spirit. Take care of that beautiful soul within you. Allow it to fly. Allow your mind to dream. Dream and float to your good. The Empress card must be turned right side up. To allow the birth of a great idea to be born. For you to be reborn. To wake up and be alive.

The Nature of Today's Energy 9.5.13: MoveTthrough This Season of Change

Thursday 9.5.13:

The card of the day is Destiny = The Wheel of Fortune. The hidden energy card is Judgement. The card sits in the position of Yellow = flexibility, adaptability, and personal power.

When the wheel changes from season to season, there is a brief pause in action, so that you can reflect on what has happened. 

How was your season of winter?

Mine was particularly cold. 

Sometimes we spin the wheel of fortune in hope that it will land on a season of summer. But what about the other three seasons?

Not only that. What about the other phases of the moon. 

You must move through the seasons with grace and ease. With every Summer there is a Winter and with every Spring there is a Fall. 

The wheel is slowing down. 

I think that the cards are speaking of the space that separates the seasons. 

We can tell it is fall by the leaves that change color. Spring brings sun and the melting of snow. Summer brings about heat. Winter brings rain and snow. 

You can get stuck between the changing of the seasons. 
When I was searching for Love, for that wonderful person to spend time with, I use to wish for it to take place. For a relationship to manifest into my existence. I would see others and only think of the "lack of". 

I felt like I was in the middle of change. 

In the middle. 

A Mystic must learn to live in the middle. Between light and dark. Between Earth and Spirit. 

There is hope. There is always hope. The wheel is constantly turning. Turning in a circular motion. Up and down. In and out. 

Energy you put out there will surely be returned. How are your thoughts today?
What are you focusing on?
The lack of or abundance of?

Judgement speaks to us about waking up. Lifting our spiritual self from the grave and moving forward. We scream with joy, for we are ready to be reborn. Like the Phoenix. 

You have to go through your process and journey of Death and transformation, in order to be transformed by the fire. 
The stages my feel like they are moving at a slow pace. 
No need to worry. If you stay focused then you will surely make it through the change. This is all part of your Destiny. It is all part of life. The movement from one stage to the next. The scenery is being re-arranged. You must change your clothes. Change your character. 

As I sit here and write, my niece is watching "The Little Mermaid". Ariel went through change. She gave up her life as a mermaid in order to go after what she loved. She gave up her voice. 
She finds it in the end. She gets it back. 

When she did not have a voice, she had to use all of her tools found within, to get the prince to recognize her. To fall in love. 

The wheel of fortune turned in her favor. She was persistent. She did not give up. Be like Ariel today. Move forward with great intent and know that you will get what is needed. Move through the season of change into the season of Abundance. 

Abundance of only good.

The Nature of Today's Energy 9.4.13: It is Time to Break Down the Wall That is Before You.

Wednesday 9.4.13:

The card of the day is Temptation = The Devil. The hidden energy card is The Sun. The card sits in the position of Obsidian = grounding, shielding, and void.

You can get stuck within your own self pity.

"Oh how things are simply not working out in your favor. It is so bad. My life is not going where I thought it would be going. I am not worthy. I am not enough. I can not do it."

Have you heard this dialogue? Do you speak of this?

I find my inner mind trying to feed my spirit this sort of junk.

Temptation is all around you. The temptation to recognize your unworthiness. The temptation to see only bad. To know only evil. To eat everything in sight because you are feeling down and out.
To feel depressed. To feel sad.

When I think of Temptation, it reminds me of my days of going out to the clubs and having fun, and the hang over the next day. The temptation to not care about what will take place later. The temptation to just give up and let go.
Let go of what?
Your self worth?

I went for a walk and decided that the spirits and the cards are speaking of our self worth. The Devil card can advise us that we are not worthy.

Did you know that you are worthy of everything within your state of existence?
This inner truth and knowledge is like the smile on your face when you notice the beauty of the flowers or when the wind blows and you can feel Source within its presence. The presence of pure existence.

What false addictions are you believing? What are you giving power to?

"Oh but they advised me that I am not worthy. That I can not go anywhere else due to the economy. That change is not possible. I can not leave my job or else I will lose my house. I am not worthy because I am not working at this very moment. I am not worthy of my good because I am not being productive."

Who is stating this to you?

"Well, no one is stating this to me Aaron. I just know they are thinking this."

Want to know a secret?

Most likely at that very moment that you are thinking this about the people around you, they are thinking this same thought as well. Only it is about them and how you may be viewing their self worth.

No one is really better than any one else. They may have more money than you. Others may contain more knowledge. Some may have extra items that create the picture of perfectness.
But they are no better than you.

Did you know that we are all the same. We are worthy of only good. We are worthy of what is needed.
With more items of responsibility comes more responsibility.
The Devil card will make sure you know of this. The Devil card can remind you that you are holding yourself back with the lack of self worth.

"I am stuck here because the chains are around my wrists."

The chains were placed there by you. The wall was built by you.
Don't you think it is time to break it down?

The Sun card is the hidden energy card of the day. Understand that the clouds may be covering it but the Sun still is shinning. Do not worry. Good is within your life. The answer is there. When you allow Source to lead you then greatness happens with every step.

The Nature of Today's Energy 9.3.13: Intuition Sits Inside the Heartbeat of the Universe

Tuesday 9.3.13:

The card of the day is Intuition = The High Priestess. The hidden energy card is The Moon. The card sits in the position of Blue = communication and inner truth.

The High Priestess beckons us to accept the change and manifestation that is happening behind the curtain. To know that everything is happening for a reason. 

My intention is to listen to the heartbeat of the Universe. This, to me, is intuition. The heartbeat of the Universe may sound like a single drumbeat but there is more involved. If you listen close enough the beat contains much more sounds to it than you think. Between the beats, there are breaths of exhale that fill the space of silence. It is the breath of life. The essence of existence. 
This is where intuition sits. 

To listen to all of it. To find the answer. To know what comes next. 

Something wonderful is taking place behind the curtain. The hammer is swinging. The nail is being struck. The wood is being dropped. The construction worker is yelling out to his co-worker. 

Something wonderful is happening. Can you feel it?

Speak about it. Talk to your friends about this something wonderful. Explain to them that you feel it. 
You know that there can only be good. Only be love. 

The journey is advising us to grow. To evolve. 

Talk about how you have overcome so many obstacles. How Source has provided you with so many talents and you are going to use all of them. This next big adventure will be grand and beautiful. 

Speak of good. It is time to manifest it into your reality. 

The key element of speaking about what you desire. To send out the essence of that which you want into the Universe. I was missing this aspect. I needed it to be written down. To be spoken of. The crystal grid I am working with is now super charged. My intent has form and shape. I was lacking this. 

It is time to listen to the gentle breeze. It is time to listen to the butterfly that lands on your car door while stopped at a red light. It is time to listen to Brian's grandfather "Takelly". He just happen to visit me the other night. Scared me half to death because he was sitting on the couch, hiding in the pile of stuffed animals, and he decided to say "Boo". 
I was a little afraid but then I laughed and told him "I am not in the mood right now". 
Brian's grandfather is known to play pranks. This is his way of telling you that he is present and that something wonderful is going to happen. 

Funny that this memory is being thought of right now. He was advising me to move forward. That the spirits are around me, guiding me, telling me that sometimes there is fear in our heart. We have to keep moving. Know that it is part of the journey. It is part of the Universe. 

Are you good enough?

Of course you are! Keep telling your self this. Feel it in your bones. Feel it in your soul. It is there. Your own self worth is recognized.

The Nature of Today's Energy 9.2.13: Listen to the Cheerleaders Scream

Monday 9.2.13:

The card of the day is Ace of Cups. The hidden energy card is The Star. The card sits in the position of Dress Rehearsal = alternative course and choices. 

I am still listening to the song "Brave" by Sara Bareilles. It helps me write. 

It is so funny that there are certain songs I must play over and over again. It reflects my state of existence at the present moment. When I made a change in my life last year, I was playing Beth Hart "My California". I yearned for an adventure. To long for home again. To miss this wonderful place. 

I created change. It was spectacular. I am now strong. 

Did you know that you have your very own cheerleaders? They are standing on the side line. They shout and scream to inspire. To aid you on your journey. To help you when things seem bleak and dark. 

"You can do it! It is possible! There are no mistakes! You can not fail! There is only good!"

They scream with excitement. The goal is in sight. You can make that touch down. 

What if I told you that the cheerleaders of your life are spirits of those who have passed. Those who were once part of a past life. Spirits that are only here to help. 

I am receiving a message. Who ever is reading this must hear this wonderful statement. 

"You must pray with Faith. Speak about it as if it has already happened."

If you require a healing to take place. Know it. Speak about it. Advise your inner being, this vessel of clay and dirt, that you are whole. You are perfect. You are healthy. 

If you require a job. No! If you require substance and wonderful human contact with an energy known as abundance and prosperity. If you require the knowledge of existence, then look no further. Look within. Look in your back yard. Look to those who love you. 
You may not see it at first. It is as if your eyes are adjusting to the 3-D glasses. 
It is there. Love is there. Sometimes you must take a detour. Take a side step. Go out of your way to follow the paper that was blown out of your hands. You may think that you are wasting precious time but what if you were travelling down the wrong path and Source wants to lead you down a different one. 

In the end you will arrive at the exact spot you were meant to be at. The paper blowing out of your hand was not an accident. You were being guided by Source. 

The cheerleaders may not have been screaming loud enough. Or you were too focused on the game and the points that your team was not accumulating. There is always time for a Hail Mary play. There is always time for multiple touch downs. As long as you are breathing then there is always time.

The Nature of Today's Energy 9.1.13: It is Time to Put on Your Party Hat

Sunday 9.1.13:

The card of the day is Three of Cups. The hidden energy card is The Tower. The card sits in the position of Obsidian = grounding, shielding, and void.

Sometimes you have to celebrate the destruction within your life, in order to recognize that which is good. I decided to break my streak of good eating and enjoy what ever was in front of me. A lovely donut for breakfast, bagel for lunch, soda and candy for a snack, and peanut butter sandwiches for dinner, to round things off. 

I was tired of being so called "good". I was tired of always stating, "oh no. I can not have that for it will surely make me fat."

I was missing out. I decided to enjoy my life for the moment. I do not want to care about what may take place. I was feeling a little depressed and needed to just let go. My intention is to not care anymore, get fat, and then complain about how ugly I feel. I simply wanted to enjoy and be happy for a little while. I start the diet on Tuesday. It is time to start over. To purge myself of any harmful desire. To help my spirit understand that it is okay to fall down sometimes. 
I know that I must get back on that spiritual bike and begin my journey again with protein, vegetables, and fruits. 

I am not stating that I am eating everything in site. I am also not stating that I am eating until I throw up. I learned my lesson of gluttony in a past life. 

I am simply stating that sometimes you have to enjoy the good within your life. Taste a little of this and a little of that. There is always tomorrow. You can certainly start your journey tomorrow. I once had a spiritual practice. I must return to it. I must also stay fit. 

The destruction of change is happening all around. It is time to succumb to it. To let it destroy all that which is around you. Destroy the elements that are not needed at this time. They will return. Believe me. 

I know that the energy is speaking about celebration but there are moments when you do not feel like jumping up and down with joy. That is okay. Maybe you should start small. Start with a party hat. My niece had three of them in her hand yesterday and gave me one. I decided to put it on. My mood changed a few minutes later. There is something about a party hat that can make a person smile. 

Remember that we must live in this moment. Live in this moment with joy in our heart. Put on your party hat and dance.

Saturday 8.31.13:

The card of the day is the Five of Cups. The hidden energy card is The Moon. The card sits in the position of Nettle = boundaries and caution.

Emotional loss can slip through the cracks.You will tend to look at what is lost rather than what was gained.

It is amazing what can inspire me to write. To simply put words down on paper...er.....I mean screen. Whichever!

As I was hooping for exercise, listening to Sarah Bareilles' new song "Brave", I was struck with great emotion. The need to dance. The desire to love my inner child. 
I watched the video and was even more inspired.

The energy of the day speaks about the acknowledgment of your ability to be Brave. To dance in an open area and have others watch you. 
Who cares?!

As a Mystic, sometimes we have to be brave, and dance when there is no music. You are dancing with no music every time you decide to venture out on your own. To recognize your good. 

The Moon card speaks of psychic energy but also the start of evolution. Do you think it took a few seconds for a species to evolve into something grand? Nope. 
It can take a life time. Of course I am not going to get into a debate on whether there are some life forms who do evolve in seconds and then die because it may have been a misfit. Not able to survive. 

I would rather focus on your ability to change. To evolve. To do something wonderful and create. To leave that which is holding you back and move forward into your light. 

Try to hide from it. Try to out think it. To out wit it. You will eventually lose. Happiness is all around. Joy is there. It may be within the two cups that are left behind. It may be within the castle that stands before you. You must not cry for that which is lost. 

Even if it means travelling forward with no companion. Sometimes you have to speak what is on your mind. Sometimes you have to take the first step on your own. No hand holding allowed. 
It may seem this way. 
Source is always holding your hand. You may not notice it. You may feel alone at times. Believe me the journey can put blinders on your eyes. You sometimes only see what is in front of you. 

It is time to focus on your goal. The goal of being happy. Happy with your choice. Happy with the state of your existence. Satisfied with the dance you have choreographed.

The Nature of Today's Energy 8.30.13: What Does Your Spiritual Diet Look Like?

Friday 8.30.13:

The card of the day is The Devil. The hidden energy card is The Star. The card sits in the position of Fire Opal = sensuality and confidence.

When I see the Devil card, my mind begins to wander, and in turn I start to think of my gift of emotional eating.

When I first started out on my journey, to lose weight and be healthy, I started with a single step. The chains that sat around my wrist were placed there by my current state of thinking.

This is how a lot of things that hold us back are created. You tie the rope around your waist that is attached to the boulder. Sometimes that boulder can turn into a mountain.

You think, "when will I ever break free?"

I would always state, "Today I will surely eat right, exercise, and lose this weight."
I was tired of the current shape of my vessel.
I could see the true Aaron inside of all the excess skin and fat.

I needed to be true to my current self. I had to stop lying. I had to stop the action of "eating my feelings away".

I associate the Devil card to weight loss because sometimes the only thing standing in our way of losing weight is the inner dialogue within our head.

I had to break free. I had to make a choice. To be happy or unhappy. Of course I want to be happy. I had to recognize that I was in control and that no one can stop me but me.

I had to get up and work out five days a week, even when I did not feel like it. I had to have self control when eating and also work through my own crap. Food was not the answer.
Of course there are times when I feel like grabbing a dozen donuts and eating them all. Of course I want to eat carbohydrates and be like all them skinny bitches who can eat what they want and not gain a pound.
I simply have to look at food and I gain a pound. Blah!

The Devil card can creep in and advise me, "You know what will make you feel better? If you went out and ate pizza."
Now eating pizza will not kill me nor will it take me back to the weight I once was. What will make me gain weight is the lack of self control. Once I get the taste of carbohydrates (I mean bad carbs like white bread and sweets) in my belly, then I go hog wild and I eat all the sweets I want. My thought at the time is "I eat right, so I deserve it".
Oh little Devil card.

This is the only way that I can relate the Devil card to everyday circumstances. Eating is the only temptation I have in this life.
The cards are advising us to keep our eye on the goal. I was once told by a good friend, named Dana Handbury, that when you fall off of your diet and begin to eat everything in site, you just simply advise yourself that they are all vegetables, and keep on moving.

I do wake up the next morning feeling guilty and also I have a major food hang-over. Do you know what that feels like?
It is not fun. Sometimes I simply want to give up the constant battle with weight and eat everything in site. Then again what would that get me?
More weight.

When things are not working out in your favor, do not turn to the negative side of things. Turn to the positive. Have compassion for that which you do. If you fall of your wagon (and falling off of your wagon can be anything, such as over shopping, eating, drinking, sex, etc.) and find yourself spiraling downward, understand that you create the momentum of movement. You can always change the direction. You can always break free from your self created glass box. The change can be small. It can be simple. You may fall off your spiritual bike many times but the greatest gift you could give your self is getting back on it.

Tomorrow is a new day. Have the confidence that you are in control. The Devil card is not bad. It teaches us about the obstacle that is in front of us. The obstacle that you have created. So look at your weakness as vegetables and keep on moving.
